Just minutes from Sonoma Plaza, it offers the rare balance of rural charm and close proximity to world-class wineries, restaurants, and boutique shopping. The residence features two thoughtfully designed bedrooms and one bathroom, along with a comfortable common living area for relaxing between wine country adventures. Interiors are filled with authentic French antiques personally collected by Sarah over more than a decade. Soft linens, layered textures, vintage details, and warm natural light create a space that feels both refined and deeply comfortable. Guests can enjoy slow mornings with coffee, afternoon rests between tastings, or evening aperitif hour with friends in the shared living space. Step outside and you’ll discover one of the most magical parts of the property: the garden and pool area, surrounded by olive trees, lavender, and quiet corners perfect for lounging with a book or a glass of rosé. Life at Chateau Sonoma is very much alive. The surrounding farm produces a small vineyard rosé and seasonal harvests throughout the summer and fall, and guests may encounter friendly resident animals including goats, chickens, and a beloved pony named Party Girl—part of the gentle rhythm of life on the farm. Please note: The apartment occupies the entire upper level of Sarah’s four-car garage and is accessed by a wide wooden staircase. The restroom is located in a separate building approximately 10 feet away and requires going down one flight of stairs to access.
